Interaction Game
An interactive corner titled “Rate Natto” adds a playful touch, inviting visitors to express their feelings—love it or can’t stand it—turning taste itself into a conversation about cultural curiosity and exchange.
Looking forward to seeing you at our pop-up exhibition.
Flavor Exchange Archive

Following the creation of my artist’s book Eating on the Clock, which documents the daily meals and quiet resilience of Japan’s migrant workers, I plan to launch Flavor Exchange Archive, a pop-up exhibition that continues my exploration of food, identity, and cultural exchange.
This project transforms small, ordinary acts—choosing staples and condiments, comparing prices, following discount stickers, or adapting recipes to limited tools—into a collective record of everyday survival and belonging. Visitors are invited to pick up a flavor card, illustrate their own meal, and share the stories behind it.

Pop-up Exhibition (Spring 2026)
Alongside the interactive installation, I will display my artist’s book Eating on the Clock to encourage deeper reflection on how food connects cultures and how migration reshapes the meaning of home. Across cities and worksites, every meal is shaped by time, wage, and distance, yet united by a shared search for comfort and identity.
