Photography
Wandering through Yokohama’s harbor, I was drawn to the quiet rhythm where ocean light meets concrete lines. My lens traced the old facades of Chinatown, their crimson lanterns whispering stories of migration and belonging, while the glass towers of Minato Mirai shimmered like symbols of Japan’s ceaseless transformation.
The photograph on the right was honored with a Silver Key Award in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
Hope you enjoy my photography!

Harbor & Chinatown: Where Cultures Meet
Amid Yokohama’s harbor breeze and the vibrant streets of Chinatown, I captured the coexistence of tradition and modernity — a city where architecture, color, and culture flow together like tides of memory.

Form & Silence: The Geometry of Black and White
I stripped away color to focus on structure, rhythm, and light—where architecture becomes both subject and abstraction. Through the interplay of shadow and geometry, these images reveal a quieter language of the city, one that speaks through form rather than voice. Each frame is a moment of stillness, capturing balance amid the restless pulse of urban life.

After Dusk: The City in Light and Shadow
When daylight fades, the city begins to breathe differently. Neon reflections ripple across glass façades, and familiar buildings transform into fleeting silhouettes. In this series, I explore how light reshapes space and emotion, tracing the poetry of urban solitude after dark. The photographs capture not only architecture, but also the quiet pulse of a metropolis suspended between movement and stillness.
